In early 2010, I was approached to create an iPhone application for a leading e-commerce website in a fast-growing market segment. They felt that they needed an iPhone application that provided their services on the go as quickly as possible in order to compete and gain share in a cutthroat market.

Within a week of the request, I had turned around a 25 page project proposal documenting the user experience and functionality of a solution for their needs. The proposal was accepted and I began working closely with their engineers to refine and extend their product’s web services in order to ensure an iPhone application or other clients could effectively consume the service.
